Home Sweet Home

Dubbed Winnipeg’s “Golden Boy” by CBC’s Grant Lawrence, Del ducked home for 24 hours to take part in the Western Canadian Music Awards celebrations. He kicked off the evening by performing “Big Smoke,” the very song that afforded him the top honour of the night: Songwriter of the Year. Del’s latest album Prairieography also won Roots Solo Recording of the Year. Check out the complete list of WCMA artistic awards HERE.

No rest for the wicked though – it’s back to the road. Tonight: Edmonton!
